Why this Kolaveri?

Being at sea its not very often that I get access to internet but when I recently got it in China, all the social networking sites and newspapers were abuzz with one thing, the intenet viral song "Why this Kolaveri Di". People were talking all over about the song and blogs were being published in leading news papers by various writers.
Like everybody else 'Kolaver Di' caught my attention as well. I heard the song on You tube first then read almost everything about it that is on the internet. Among the things that I read on Times of India website were blogs about the song notably one by Sharmila Ravinder. Then when I switched over to Hindustan Times, I found similar blogs there and surprisingly one of them by Barkha Dutt. I know she does not write for leisure reading so what it can be.... I read it over. While the article by Sahrmila was purely about the song but the one by Ms. Dutt was about the lyrics "Why this Kolaveri" that ironically shows the current mood of the most of the common Indians (Politicians not included).

By now everybody, who has heard about the song, knows that 'Kolaveri' in literal sense means 'Murderous Rage'. So why has this rage become so common in us. We are becoming more and more intolerant, why? This was the question that arose after Mr. Sharad Pawar was assaulted in public.
The attack was comdemned by all the politicians in unison. There's nothing wrong in that, everybody does that. When a irresponsible doctor in a Govt. hospital is assaulted by relatives of a dead patient, all the Doctors in India condemn that (even when the fellow Doctor's negligence is responsible for the death), when a lawyer is assaulted, all lawyers condemn and so on....

So the attack was condemned by all the politicians including our Honest PM Mr. Manmohan Singh and also by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. It didn't surprise me. But what surprised me was the question that Mr. Mukherjee asked the media..... Where's this nation heading to?  Yes exactly my sentiments, Why this Kolaveri, but doesn't he need to ask this question to himself and to his fellow politicians? They are the chosen leaders and they are leading us to this rage. So why are they surprised. Being leaders they should know beforehand the sentiments that will arise due to ineffectiveness of the govt., innumerable scams and rising inflation.

Mr. Pawar's attacker was booked for assaulting a Public servant who never behaves likes a servant. All the Politicians Condemned the attack in Parliament in unison without any problems but soon after that they didn't let the Parliament run causing Millions of Tax payers Rupees go waste. The Govt. is functioning without any proper leadership. Prime Minister has no power by himself. The list is endless........

This is causing restlessness in general public and is reducing the common man's tolerance and THAT'S WHY THIS KOLAVERI .........
